Dana & Hunter

In other news, I JUST realized that I have to approve comments for them to appear.  So I just stumbled upon a crapload of beautiful words from all of you… THANK YOU!  Those little comments mean the absolute world to me!

I’ve only lived in Los Angeles for three years.  And the amount of territory I’ve covered is kind of sad.  Pathetic really.  Downtown is nearly brand new to me as I’ve only ventured into a few jewelry stores and a few craft stores during my own wedding planning.  I’ve never been to Union Station and I’ve always wanted to!  When Yeimy told me she was considering it for our Trash the Dress shoot I was so excited!  Another landmark I could cross off the list!

This place is GORGEOUS!  And PACKED with people.  There was some kind of gathering of bajillions of people across the street, so there were lots and lots of people everywhere we looked.  I was excited for the extra challenge!

After a few shots we fell into a beautiful cadence. Chris was along to help and the four of us felt like old friends, laughing & joking together. Yeimy and Ronald move so well together, totally in sync with one another, their chemistry palpable (I’m laughing to myself about my little joke … they’re both chemists. HA!)  It was an absolute pleasure shooting with the two of you, learning about your lives and capturing what I hope embodies yourselves and your relationship.

I like to blog within a few days of shooting, I know how excruciatingly painful it can be to wait and stalk and refresh.  I’d promised Yeimy I’d try to get them up by Tuesday.  With 8 minutes to go, I’m sticking to the promise  🙂  Enjoy!

Saturday was a beautiful day.  Just the right temperature, a clear sky and a warm sun.  It was a perfect day for a wedding.

Christine & Robby kept me giggling all day long.  They just fall into each other, the perfect counterparts.  His silliness to her impeccable attention to detail.  He just stares at her, blown away by the woman that will be his wife.  It’s beautiful to watch them together.

The absolute joy that they share with their friends and family is contagious and I felt welcomed immediately. I spent most of the day with the guys, getting ready and documenting their sheer ridiculousness.  I’ve got to hand it to them, they handled some scary situations with ease… and really, a pair of tuxedo pants with a few missing inches isn’t that big of a deal  🙂

We were a paparazzi style team!  There was a Sarah K. Chen, Jonilyn and Jacob Atmodjojo.  I don’t think there was a single shot missed all night!  And a HUUUUGE thank you to Amanda Auer and her team for coordinating a fantastically smooth event.

On to the eye candy!

She gave him boudoir pictures…

And he gave her a new laptop!

The ring went down the aisle inside a frog.

The first sight…

Congratulations Robbie & Christine!  May you lives be full of love, laughter and champagne.
