There’s not a whole lot going on that’s interesting these days.  Which is likely a good thing!  Lots of time in front of the computer and behind the camera.  I keep an "Edit" list on a chalkboard next to my computer. It reminds me what I have to edit and keeps me on top of it all.  Last week, the list got REEEEEEAAALLLLLYYYY long.  But I’m almost all caught up now!  Woop!

I am not at all caught up on my Google Reader though.  It stops counting the number of posts you have waiting to be read at 1000, and just says "1000+"  I haven’t seen it in triple digits since 2008.  And now it’s just kind of scary and overwhelming.

The first month or so that I lived in LA, I got 6 parking tickets.  I had a lot to learn about parking, obviously.  And it’s been a long while since I’ve had some learning to do.  This month I learned that you are not allowed to park more than 3 feet from a curb and that if you are 15 minutes late on your meter, it will cost you a lot more than a few quarters.

There was a lot of cake in the house last week.  There was birthday cake and cupcakes and brownies.  And they were all delicious.  I was a little happy that they were gone though.  Because I ate all of them and got a rounder belly.  But now that they’ve been gone for a while, all I want is a little cupcake.  Because of how delicious they are!

I have a magazine obsession.  I have stacks and stacks of them that are just waiting to be read.  Some issues are likely a year old.  I’m using some of them as decoration so that Chris doesn’t have a total conniption fit that they are covering the house.  But I use them as inspiration… Vogue, W, GQ, Bazaar… I NEED these magazines.  He doesn’t really understand that.  And then I went to the grocery store, and a few may have slipped into my cart and then onto the checkout belt.  They are now in another pile in the kitchen
