I’d been considering attending workshops for a while now. And every time one would come up, I would get all the way to the registration page and start to second guess my decision. I wanted to make sure that everything I learned would make me the kind of photographer that I wanted to be. That every single penny of my investment would, eventually, help build my vision of the perfect photographer. And after a few moments of consideration, I would always close the Firefox tab and walk away.
Then Jasmine Star announced she would be hosting her first workshop. And there was no second guessing. There was no consideration. I was on the registration page with fingers flying over my keyboard praying that I would be one of the lucky 20. See, I have nothing but absolute LOVE for Jasmine Star. From her work, to her business persona, to just her. And I may have possible jumped out of my chair and done a happy dance in my office when I realized that my fingers had been fast enough!
It was an absolutely incredible day, spent with 20 photographers. I feel revamped and revitalized. So excited to put all of this learning to work.
Part of The Workshop was a shoot. We were told to fail. Given the permission to try everything and anything that would take us out of our boxes and allow us to grow. Brittany and Zach were fantastic models… truly the best we could have ever asked for. Vivian Tran of All Made Up Team was on hand for the hair and make-up. Absolutely STUNNING!
Jasmine - Thank you so much for sharing so much of yourself. You are truly making this industry a better place! I am absolutely thrilled to have been a part of your AHHHmazing first workshop!

I saw you on Jasmine’s blog this morning, so its totally fun to see your pictures! Which, I might say, are just as lovely as the ones that she posted. Glad to hear that she is as great in person as she seems online.

I wish I lived closer so I could have attended. The faces in the pictures look just like Jasmine’s faces… so smooth yet natural. (I don’t like plastic looking faces…) Also your colors pop so much more. I’m glad I came across your blog!

Gday.
Did you ever think about creating your very own blog? There are many great platforms, but by far the best is Wordpress. It is simple to set up, however the themes just never fit my desires. I searched for a simple solution to this problem and realized that there wasn’t one. I then had a template custom made for my needs and was so happy with the outcome. I then decided to build a website that would show the world how to simply hire an expert in wordpress design.

Do you know that X-mas gift giving first started around 1851 with a revival of the X-mas festival and the popularity of Saint Nicholas. The act of gifting for men and women, children, wives and husbands became popular. Advertisers in the 1920s marketed the idea of christmas shopping and Gifting. A christmas gift was viewed as a way to promote family togetherness. X-mas now is typically the largest annual economic stimulus for many nations. Mum and dad search hard for christmas gift ideas for their family, trying to come up with suggestions for a unique present. X-mas sales increase dramatically in almost all retail areas and shops - including online websites – as they introduce new products as people purchase gifts, decorations, and supplies.
