I love fashion. And I love pouring through fashion magazines. Staring at the beautiful photographs. The enormous stacks of magazines in our house drive Chris INSANE and he often "cleans" by scooping them all up and throwing them in the closet in my office. I must admit, I’m a bit behind on my magazine reading. Last month I read about the most perfect Christmas presents for your significant other in Bazaar. I like to consider myself early for 2009 as opposed to late for 2008.
Anyway, as much as a LOOOVE fashion, I never thought I would enjoy fashion photography. Or studio photography in general. See, my most favorite part of photography is the emotion I get to capture between a couple. Real passion. In their natural habitat. I never thought I’d be able to find the same thing with studio stuff. Until Tuesday.
I shot a boudoir style session for Social Hollywoods’ new marketing campaign. And it was nothing short of AHHHMAZING! My sister Moira Taylor was on hair and makeup and Miriam Burke handled all of the styling. I couldn’t believe how much fun I had and am soooo beyond happy with the images we were able to create.
