Lydia and her sister emailed me a while back.  Lucia, her sister, was going to come down from NorCal and they wanted to shoot boudoir sessions for their husbands.  Lydia is getting ready to celebrate her fifth wedding anniversary!  AND she just had a baby.  For serious, if I can have a body that resembles ANYTHING like hers at any point after giving birth to a child I will be a super happy camper. Anyway, I think it’s such a great gift for an anniversary… keeping the marriage spicy!

The three of us had a fantastic afternoon.  We laughed and rearranged lots of furniture and sipped champagne.  (My job is amazing!)  They sent me some perfect inspiration shots and I hope I did them justice. Lucia’s post will pop up tomorrow, for today, Lydia.

Lydia was absolutely perfect in front of the lens.  She moved with such ease and knew how to work my camera.  Not a single frame we shot is identical to another.  See, that’s my favorite.  When you’re so comfortable in front of the lens that you need no prompting from me.  That you move around, feeling the space around you.   Experimenting.  It doesn’t all work.  But when it’s good, it’s amazing!  Lydia was amazing.
