Turns out, website building is a super long and hard process. There’s all kinds of coding and bugs and crazy-way-beyond-my-abilities stuff to deal with. But, at WPPI, a photography convention in February, I found ShowIt Sites. I’d been using their slideshows for quite a while, but hadn’t been formally introduced to their website program. And after hearing how absolutely amazing it was. And how easy it was. And how groundbreaking it was. I thought, I can do this all by myself! And have the ability to tweak or overhaul as I please… well, that would be just amazing!
And then I realized that I am entirely to busy to learn and focus on something that I’m just probably not that great at. I am good at lots of things… techy website stuff is definitely not one of them! So, after staring at the screen for a few weeks realizing that I had no clue how to do what I wanted to do, I called Spilled Milk Designs. For serious, Nick is a lifesaver. I’d come up with ideas and he would implement. And then he would improve. Or he would create and I would sit back and think about how happy I was that someone much more capable than myself was working at it. So, I am happy, giddy and thrilled to announce the super brand new Hazelnut Photography website! It’s everything that I wanted it to be and I couldn’t be more tickled to death without actually being dead.
