I met Karri over drinks last week to discuss her boudoir shoot.  We spent over four hours talking about, well, everything.  I knew that we were going to have an absolute blast.  And then she brought me baby cupcakes from Vanilla Bake Shop, and I realized that we should be friends forever.  I ate three of them on the way home, but really, three baby cupcakes are totally the same, or even less, than one real cupcake.  Right?

So, we shot at Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, which is BEEEAutiful!  About half way through, there was an earthquake.  I must have looked absolutely petrified, because she kept asking me if I was OK!  This Southern girl doesn’t deal well with moving Earth. 

After the Earth stopped moving, and I dropped my petrified face, we had so much fun.  Really, like hanging out with an old friend.  We continued our four hour conversation from the week before and the hours flew by.  Karri, thank you for making my job so much fun!  I had an absolutely fabulous time with you.  I hope that you and Doug will love these images!
