Jessica & Josh: The Wedding

I adore Jessica & Josh.  Adore them.  The turned me on to Laurel Tavern, Pocky and an entirely new level of sarcasam.  They make me laugh hysterically.  They love each other intensely and I couldn’t be happier that, after ten years of dating, they’ve finally tied the knot!

It was a simple ceremony full of tears and laughter at the Police Academy Revolver Club, followed by a fantastic party at The Bungalow Club.  The details were fantastic, running with an "It’s About Time" theme with mice and clocks.  Their friends and family surprised them with special toasts, songs and dances.  The food was delicious and I’m having dreams about the Lamb kebobs. It was everything a wedding should be!

Jessica & Josh - It’s a bitersweet moment.  I’m so incredibly happy for the two of you and so sad to not be getting your super crazy emails!  Chris and I had an amazing time at your wedding and are so excited for the two of you.  Super excited for our next date… as long as the images don’t suck.

They got ready together at The Hollywood Roosevelt.  It’s the first chance I’ve had to shoot there since my own wedding and I was crazy excited.

Josh is a screenwriter.  So naturally, he wrote their ceremony in screenplay form.

Josh choose Jessica’s wedding gown, so he knew what it looked like, but I think the moment that you finally see each other on your wedding day, completely dressed and ready to go, is such an incredibly sweet moment.  Chris was able to catch them both, Josh and Jessica’s reflection.

Floral Fields handled all of the florals and they were incredibly delicious.

Jordana - beautiful pictures. OF course, with beautiful people in them it was probably the easiest job you have ever had. Jess & Josh - I had a great time! Hope to see you again soon (I’ll need to make a trip to the Grove for some crepes because I am having withdrawals!). Love you!
