When did that happen!? We’ve been going back and forth a few times thus far and I keep thinking that it’s fall. Like after we installed central Air Conditioning in the house and then it suddenly got very cool. At the time I was so upset that we wouldn’t get to put it to good use for a bit! Then, it turned into the the surface of the sun and I got tons of use from the new unit. Then I shot a session in sweaters and scarves. And I thought it was definitely fall. Then, back to the surface of the sun.
But now the weather is beyond perfect. And the pumpkins are arriving. Pumpkin pie and lattes and bread and scones. I love pumpkin food more than anything else on the planet. Definitely my favorite flavor! And while the pumpkin has been on the shelves for a few weeks now, it’s finally starting to feel just right. Just the right time.
So at Trader Joe’s I picked up a few for the doorstep. And then took a can of spray paint to them 
I have a feeling I’d like to add at least 17 more to the doorstep. By Thanksgiving I think I’ll have my own little pumpkin patch!

What a cute idea! I’m in LA also and am so excited about the changing season. It was so hot last week in SFV, but now there is a chill in the air and the leaves are blowing around! I love it!
I also love your work. I found you through another blog and spent the majority of yesterday looking through all of your posts! Beautiful photos!

That is such a neat idea! Ugh I totally thought it was going to be cold today so I busted out my boots, and then I was roasting all day! Let it be cool!

even though it was like 95* here today i am pretending it is fall.. pumpkins are my favorite thing too! we are going to a farm next week so i can bring home gazillions of pumpkins in all shapes and colors!
your pumpkins are absolutely beautiful! the black one turned out particularly nice!
