This was my second shoot with Nicole.  We shot a boudoir session for Darin’s wedding gift last February and she.was.AHHHmazing!  Rocked the lenses right off my camera.  And, although he didn’t know it the first time, it was my second time meeting Darin.  After our boudoir session in the woods, Nicole thought it would be the most perfect place for a Sunday hike with Darin.  I also happened to be there shooting an engagement session!  It was this weird awkward "hello" and then "good bye".  I was so afraid I would let the secret of our session pop out of my mouth and he would stare at me with this confused look and I would be forced to squeeze my foot into my mouth.  Luckily I didn’t and Nicole came up with a perfect story.  I am a medical assistant.  And we work together!

They were married in May in Pennsylvania, so I was incredibly excited when they decided to finish up the wedding hoopla with a session in Malibu.  I was thrilled to spend some more time with Nicole and to formally introduce myself to Darin.  They of course were fantastically awesome to photograph and the three of us had an amazing time.  Well, until this CRAAAZY fog flew in off the ocean and covered up the sun and left Nicole & Darin in shivers.  They worked it out though and this huge sigh of relief flew over them when I told them we were done and they could put on lots and lots of sweaters!

Darin & Nicole - I had such a fantastic time with the two of you.  Darin, it was so wonderful to meet the man that Nicole raved about earlier this year.  You two are so amazing together and I’m so happy to have been able to document the two of you together.  I’m looking forward to our next date
