Danae & Brian: The Wedding

Perfection.  Each bow was tied perfectly.  Each hair was in place.  Every bouquet stunning.  Danae is a perfectionist and it was so much fun to watch her touch every detail.  Make sure that everything was absolutely perfect.  But she was calm.  Quiet.  Relaxed.  So ready, after so many years of dating the man of her dreams, to walk up behind up and see him for the first time on their wedding day.

Brian was nervous and excited.  Nervous laughter.  He promised me he wouldn’t cry.  He was too manly for that!  So watching Danae wipe away his tears was so beautiful.  He was ready too.

Danae & Brian had an absolutely perfect day at Los Serranos Country Club on Friday.  She allowed PLENTY of time for us to capture everything in a super relaxed manner.  To the point that we even had time to hang out!  I’m pretty sure that’s never happened to me.  Ever.  The day was one of the smoothest wedding days I’ve seen yet.  And I’m so happy to have been a part of it!

It was also new for me.  For the first time, Chris couldn’t be there to shoot with me.  I was nervous and a little bit sad that I wouldn’t be able to shoot him glances and sneak kisses.  But with Ala from The Modern Type helping me the day was perfect.  Couldn’t have been better!   Thank You Ala!

Danae & Brian – You take such beautiful care of each other.  I can literally see how much you love each other and how beautiful your relationship is.  Thank you for taking such good care of Ala and I!  We had a fantastic time and I couldn’t be more thrilled for the two of you!   Congratulations!

I love this moment, between Danae & her mother.  Such tears of happiness.

Danae made sure to build in plenty of time for pictures.  We had some time at the beginning of the day for just the two of us.  I’m so happy to have shot some fantastic pictures of a just a beautiful bride on her wedding day.

Nicole Deanne did an amazing job on Danae’s hair and makeup.  She was striking.

Flower Allie create some of the most lush florals… absolutely perfect!

Love love love a first look.  While always a personal choice, I love the flexibility that it gives in a photography schedule.  And the anxiety it takes off the couple.  And the creative freedom it gives me.  And the extreme emotion I get to capture.  I always get a little bit teary.

Brian was so adorable, carrying her train everywhere we went.  Helping her change shoes and making sure she never got dirty.

I believe I ate six peeps.  Sooo delicious.

The blingtastic cake topper was from Bling Divas.

Every single song that the DJ played was Danae’s favorite.  She got so excited!   It was adorable.

Head over to The Modern Type for some of the most amazing groomsman shots I’ve ever seen.  Ever.  For the first time I was jealous to not be hanging out in the hot sun with a bunch of boys!
