It was 3 am. And we were standing outside in our thrown together pajama outfits. I was feeling guilty because some people brought their cats and I was the bad kitty mommy who ran out of the condo, leaving the kitties to suffer through the smoke and fire. The stupid fire alarm had gone off. Again. And that’s when we met Charissa, Steven and their super cute Italian Greyhound Sophie. I’m pretty sure I looked super hot in glasses, mid-sleep breath and some crazy talk hair. Charissa and Steven looked super hot. Like Ken and Barbie.
We bought our condos at around the same time three years ago. The four of us spent many days around the pool and many nights in the hot tub. It was about 9 months ago that she told me they were thinking about babies and about 8.5 months ago that they told us the first was on her way! Geneva is preparing for her arrival at the end of the month and I was beyond ecstatic when Charissa asked me to shoot a few frames before their lives were changed forever. And I was absolutely honored.
We set up a little studio at the house and spent an afternoon documenting this beautiful time in their lives. I am super excited to watch as Charissa and Steven take this giant leap. It’s such an honor to watch our friends grow up and change. Charissa & Steven – Chris and I couldn’t be more thrilled for your family and the new addition. Congratulations!

I asked them to pretend I wasn’t there… to just be. They way they relaxed at home together. This is what Steven gave me…

The way you describe your first meeting, lol. So great!
The pictures are amazing! I always thought pregnancy pictures are something everyone should do, especially when it’s the first baby! Great job!
